Namaste, iam Barbara Delaney, Don’t miss me too much.

Well, ain’t that a kick in the pants! My fridge just went cold on me. I guess it’s time to call the repairman. Talk about a bummer - I was really looking forward to having some cold drinks this weekend. Oh well, nothing for it but to get it fixed up and running again. Here’s hoping it won’t take too long!

Is 3 Too Cold For Fridge? [Solved]

Cool it! Keep your fridge at 3°C to 5°C and you’ll be good to go. That way, your food will stay fresh and bacteria won’t have a chance to grow.

  1. Temperature: The temperature of a cold fridge should be set between 0-4°C (32-39°F).
  2. Cleanliness: Make sure to keep the inside of your fridge clean and free from food debris and spills.
  3. Organization: Organize food items in the fridge so that air can circulate freely around them, allowing for even cooling throughout the appliance.
  4. Shelves: Place heavier items on lower shelves and lighter items on higher shelves to ensure proper weight distribution within the appliance.
  5. Door Seals: Check door seals regularly to make sure they are tight and secure, preventing warm air from entering the fridge and causing it to work harder than necessary to maintain its cool temperature setting.

My fridge is so cold it’s like a tundra in there! I can’t believe how chilly it is - I’m shivering just thinking about it. It’s definitely not normal; I’d better get a technician to take a look. In the meantime, I’ll have to keep my food in coolers and hope for the best.
