Hi, iam Gregory Martinez, Buongiorno.

Brrr! It’s 59 degrees out and these poor pups are shivering! I don’t know about you, but when it gets this cold, all I want to do is curl up with a blanket and a hot cup of cocoa. Unfortunately for our furry friends, they don’t have that luxury. So if you’re like me and feeling the chill in the air, let’s make sure we take extra care of our cold dogs.

Is 59 Degrees Too Cold For Dogs? [Solved]

Cool to cold temperatures are generally safe for your pup, as long as they don’t dip below 45 degrees. Anything between 50-60 is great, but if it gets too hot - 85+ - you’ll want to keep a close watch on them. So just keep an eye out and you’ll be good!

  1. Temperature: 59 degrees is a cold temperature, especially for dogs who are not used to the cold.

  2. Breeds: Certain breeds of dogs are more suited to colder temperatures than others, such as huskies and malamutes.

  3. Clothing: If you have a dog that is not used to the cold, it may be necessary to provide them with clothing or blankets in order to keep them warm and comfortable in the colder temperatures.

  4. Exercise: When exercising your dog in colder temperatures, it is important to limit their time outdoors and ensure they do not become too cold or over-exerted during their activity time.

  5. Hydration: Dogs need plenty of water when exercising in the cold weather, so make sure they have access to fresh water at all times while outside in the cooler temperatures.

It’s chilly out there - 59 degrees cold! Poor dogs must be freezing; they don’t have a coat like we do. Brrr, I’m glad I’m not one of them!
